John Clancy is a proven software executive with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling high-growth software businesses. He joined Bitsight as CEO in April 2026.
Over the course of his career, Clancy has served as CEO, President, and COO across multiple B2B software companies, including Azuki Systems, Iron Mountain Digital, and Radius. In each of these roles, Clancy guided the organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and market expansion, consistently turning strong foundations into valuable, high performing companies.
Prior to Bitsight, Clancy was Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Operations at PSG Equity. There, he founded and led the value creation team, driving commercial, financial, and operating improvements across more than 100 portfolio companies. Additionally, he led PSG's Senior Advisor network of 30+ CEOs and helped design and lead the firm's strategy for AI integration and transformation across the portfolio.
Clancy is based in Boston, MA and holds a B.A. from Assumption University.
