Today, Bitsight filed a complaint against Black Kite for patent infringement, false advertising and unfair competition. As a pioneer in the cybersecurity ratings field, we strongly believe that it is important to promote vigorous competition in our industry. That competition should not, however, come at the expense of infringing our intellectual property or making improper and incorrect assertions about our products and services. 

Bitsight did not undertake the decision to litigate lightly, but believe it is necessary to protect our valuable intellectual property rights and set the record straight in the marketplace.
