Alessandra 1Name: Alessandra Pilloni

Job Title: Customer Success Manager

Location: London

What do you do at Bitsight and how long have you worked here?
I help customers realise the maximum value out of Bitsight, focusing on what’s most important for them. I’ve been with the company for about 1 year.

How did you get into Customer Success?
The role was a natural development after various sales roles. I’ve always had the customer as the centre of my focus; I really enjoy helping customers achieve their goals and making sure their point of view is heard within the company at all levels.

What challenges you the most at Bitsight?
Working with a varied customer base, who chose Bitsight with different goals in mind and have different levels of maturity and engagement. It is key for a CSM to respect such differences and deliver a suitable experience, so that it is always perceived as positive, productive and successful.

What is your favorite thing about Bitsight?
The team! I work daily with extraordinarily talented people from so many teams: customer success, support, sales, product, etc. The success of our customers is everyone’s business here at Bitsight, and I feel really lucky to be able to contribute to it.

What is the most important thing you learned at Bitsight?
I’m new to cyber security, so learning the technical aspect has been fundamental for me.

What is your favorite quote?
“There are more things in Heaven and Earth, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” It reminds me to always stay humble, as our knowledge of reality is limited by nature and there is always something unknown ready to reveal itself unexpectedly.

What do you like to do for fun?
I love travelling to explore new cultures, growing orchids and reading novels.

What was the last book you read?
Elias Portolu, a novel by Sardinian Nobel-prize winner Grazia Deledda. Beautifully written, it’s the story of a young man who attempts to mold his character and build a better destiny for himself.
