Upgrading to version 2.7.13 or 2.8.0.beta11 eliminates this vulnerability. Applying the patch 584c6a2e8bc705072b09a9c4b55126d6f8ed4ad2 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
