A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in cpython up to 3.6.12/3.7.9/3.8.7/3.9.1 (Programming Language Software). Affected is the function urllib.parse.parse_qsl/urllib.parse.parse_qs. Upgrading to version 3.6.13, 3.7.10, 3.8.8 or 3.9.2 eliminates this vulnerability. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
