CVE-2019-17638 Details
Versions 9.4.27.v20200227 to 9.4.29.v20200521 of Eclipse Jetty with large response headers produce an HTTP 431 error. This is an exception by Jetty where the ByteBuffer containing the HTTP response headers is released back to the ByteBufferPool twice. This double release can cause sensitive data (HTTP session IDs, authentication credentials, etc.) belonging to other users to be exposed in the server response.
