BitSight Presents: "Twice as Likely" Video

Noah Simon | June 10, 2015

In April, we published a report Beware the Botnets: Botnets Correlated to a Higher Likelihood of a Significant Breach. In this report, we found that companies with botnet grades of ‘B’ or below were more than twice as likely to experience a significant breach. We found this discovery both surprising and compelling. What other phenomena also had this degree of probability?

We began to search and came across some interesting stats. It turns out that there are many other situations in which an event is more than twice as likely to occur - some of which are quite funny. While we hope you find this video amusing, data breaches are no laughing matter. If you don’t know your botnet grade, you can schedule a free demo to find out.
